Portland Trail Blazers forward Carmelo Anthony is out for Friday’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers due to personal reasons, the team announced Thursday. Anthony did not travel with the team.
Friday will be the first Laker home game since the sudden passing of Kobe Bryant on Sunday. A teary-eyed Anthony reflected on his relationship with Bryant after Portland’s recent win against Indiana.
