The Trail Blazers successful postseason run could bear fruit for members of coach Terry Stotts’ staff. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, members of the Cavaliers’ front office interviewed David Vanterpool on the eve of Game 7 between the Nuggets and Blazers. Along with Vanterpool, Cleveland’s brass interviewed three other candidates and they plan to meet with Nate Tibbetts after the Western Conference Semifinals concludes.
Cavaliers general manager Koby Altman and members of his front office met separately with several assistant coaches in Denver on the eve of Game 7 between the Denver Nuggets and Portland Trail Blazers, including Denver assistants Jordi Fernandez and Wes Unseld Jr.
