Blazers Sign Troy Caupain, London Perrantes to Training Camp Deals

The Portland Trail Blazers have signed Troy Caupain and London Perrantes to Exhibit 10 training camp deals, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowksi. Caupain suited up in four games for the Orlando Magic last season while on a two-way deal. He played 49 games for Orlando’s G League affiliate, averaging 16.4 points per game.

Perrantes appeared in 14 games for the Cleveland Cavaliers during the 2017-18 season. He has also spent time in France and the G League.

Exhibit 10 contracts allow for teams to carry additional players outside of the 15-man roster limit, as Luke Adams of Hoops Rumors explains:

Teams can only carry 15 players on NBA contracts (plus two on two-way deals) during the regular season, but their maximum roster size increases to 20 players in the offseason, allowing clubs to bring a few extra players to camp to audition for a place on the regular-season roster or a spot on the team’s G League affiliate.
