The Portland Trail Blazers know that if they continue to mirror their Game 1 performance against the Golden State Warriors, it will spell an early exit. While the team just came off a grueling seven-game series against the Denver Nuggets, they’re not making excuses for their play, as Joe Freeman of The Oregonian writes:
“It takes a toll on you, playing seven games, having to come back, flying here, all that stuff,” Hood said. “But that’s the playoffs and you’ve got to be ready for it.”
