The Portland Trail Blazers are set to take on the Sacramento Kings in their second preseason game. Blazers beat reporter Casey Holdahl announced that Chauncey Billups has decided to start Jrue Holiday, Shaedon Sharpe, Deni Avdija, Toumani Camara, and Donovan Clingan. That leaves veteran Jerami Grant as the odd man out -- a decision that Grant could be surprised by, based on what he said at media day.
Grant was asked about the possibility of him coming off the bench this season, and told the media that he doesn't expect that to happen. Well, Portland is just two games into the preseason, and Grant is already benched.
