Rookie forward Greg Brown III made a solid impression on the Trail Blazers’ coaching staff with his work in practice and on the floor in Las Vegas. The Oregonian’s Aaron Fentress spoke with Brown and assistant coach Roy Rogers about the events that have unfolded in recent weeks.
Brown, who delivered a signature highlight in Las Vegas with an eye-popping dunk, earned praise from Rogers. The former Clippers assistant detailed Brown’s attitude and athleticism.
“Greg is so athletic and that’s just a rare glimpse into his athleticism,” Rogers said. “I told him, ‘I’ve been in this league a long time as a player and a coach.
