Former Portland Trail Blazers’ forward Al-Farouq Aminu underwent a minor surgery to address swelling in his right knee yesterday according to Kurt Helin of NBC Sports. The swelling is a result of a torn meniscus suffered by Aminu that marked the end of his season. This surgery will push back Aminu’s first game of the season for the Magic back from the season opener.
Aminu suffered a torn meniscus in his right knee back in January but had a setback in his recovery and needed this surgery to clean this up and speed his recovery.
