What We Learned on (Fall?) Vacation: Notes from the Women’s International Break

While the NWSL was on hold for the week, the Thorns’ internationals were on duty with their national teams. Lindsey Horan, Allie Long, and (gasp) Tobin Heath all saw minutes for the US, while Amandine Henry and Nadia Nadim played for France and Denmark, respectively. While most of these matches were friendlies, there were still some Thorns-related highlights worth sharing:

Lindsey Horan scored against New Zealand

In the second of two outings against the Football Ferns, Lindsey Horan scored a great diving header, getting on the end of a long ball by Sam Mewis:

Horan impressed throughout both matches, but especially on Tuesday after coming on for Rose Lavelle in the 33rd minute.
