PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland Thorns FC midfielders Tobin Heath and Lindsey Horan, goalkeeper Adrianna Franch and defender Emily Sonnett have been named to the 23-player U.S. Women’s National Team roster ahead of a pair of friendlies against Chile on Aug. 31 and Sept. 4. Head coach Jill Ellis and her staff will select 18 players to suit up for each match.
Heath, Horan, Franch and Sonnett will depart and join the USWNT after the club’s Aug. 25 road match against the Washington Spirit.
