Portland Timbers players Andrés Flores and Jorge Villafaña and Portland Thorns FC forward Ifeoma Onumonu joined 100 students, Operation Pitch Invasion (OPI) board members, Timbers mascot Timber Joey, Timbers ambassador Jack Jewsbury and school officials and sponsors at the unveiling of a new futsal court built as part of the Fields For All partnership between the Timbers community initiative, Stand Together, and OPI at Tom McCall Upper Elementary School on Thursday afternoon.
The unveiling marks the fourth set of futsal courts presented by the Fields for All partnership, with Stand Together and OPI partnering on the development of a futsal court at the Boys & Girls Club’s Rockwood campus last year.
