With the rash of players that will be away on international team duty this summer, Portland Thorns FC have signed two players — forward Raisa Strom-Okimoto and midfielder Taylor Porter — as National Team Replacement players. National Team Replacement players are players signed for when teams have players away on international duty, with the replacements not counting against the team’s roster limit.
Strom-Okimoto has NWSL experience, most recently playing with Kansas City NWSL at the beginning of this year. She made her professional debut back in 2019 with the Utah Royals FC, playing eight games between 2019 and 2020.
