This is the first of a series examining the 2017 Thorns with an eye towards trying to figure out what we might see from PTFC in 2018. Let’s begin with the first line of attack.
Thorns FC has five forwards rostered as of December 10, 2017: Christine Sinclair, Savannah Jordan, Tyler Lussi, Hayley Raso, and Ashleigh Sykes. Four of them are under contract.
The striking corps of Thorns FC has been one of the on-paper strengths of the team since the 2013 season when the “twin towers” of Alex Morgan and Sinclair were supposed to sweep the league before them.
