After a year-and-a-half on hiatus, T2 is back. Portland Timbers 2, the reserve side for the Portland Timbers first team, is back in operation in 2022, playing in the newly created MLS NEXT Pro league (the league with the really funny looking font). Sitting in the third tier of the American soccer pyramid, MLS NEXT Pro is meant to serve as a developmental league for MLS first teams.
