The Portland Timbers' USL side T2 plays host to the Vancouver Whitecaps FC in its 2016 USL season home opener on Saturday.
Kickoff is at 7 p.m. at Merlo Field at the University of Portland, T2's home ground.
T2 opened the season on the road with a 2-1 loss to the Swope Park Rangers in Kansas City last week. Nick Besler converted a cross from Kharlton Belmar to beat Swope Park Rangers goalkeeper Jon Kempin for the only T2 goal.
(Remember Jon Kempin? He was in goal at the end of the game and throughout Portland Timbers' epic shoot-out win against Sporting Kansas City last season, brought in off the bench in the 84th minute when starter Tim Melia came off with in injury.
