T2 acquire winger Marvin Loría

PORTLAND, Ore. – T2 announced today that the club has acquired winger Marvin Loría from Costa Rican Primera División side Deportivo Saprissa on loan for the 2018 USL campaign, with a purchase option. Loría will be added to T2’s roster pending receipt of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) and P-1 visa, in addition to league and federation approval.

A native of San Jose, Costa Rica, Loría, 20, joins Portland from Deportivo Saprissa (2013-15, 2016-18), where he spent four seasons, appearing in 10 matches (6 starts) and registering one assist. Loría made his professional debut with Saprissa as a 16-year-old, starting alongside current Portland Timbers midfielder David Guzmán in a 1-1 draw against C.
