In the highest attended midweek match in the history of women's club soccer in the U.S., Portland Thorns FC scored four goals in the first 23 minutes to roll past the Houston Dash, 5-0, on July 24, 2019 at Providence Park. The 22,329 fans in attendance also saw the return to the club for the four U.S. Women's National team players who won the World Cup 17 days earlier.
