SAN JOSÉ, Costa Rica – A second half brace by midfielder Eryk Williamson plus a first half goal from new signee Felipe Mora gave the Portland Timbers a 3-1 victory over Costa Rican side Municipal Grecia on Wednesday at the Complejo Deportivo Fedefutbol Plycem in Portland's second match of the 2020 preseason campaign, presented by Old Trapper Beef Jerky.
For the second preseason match in a row, Portland employed two different XIs – one for each half. Portland went out to a 1-0 lead early when Mora chested down a cross from Sebastián Blanco and fired it past the Grecia keeper.
