The Portland Timbers opened their 2019 preseason campaign, presented by Old Trapper Beef Jerky, with a 4-0 win over Deportivo Saprissa at the Sports Complex Fedefutbol-Plycem in Costa Rica Monday morning. The Timbers were led by a brace from Lucas Melano plus goals from Dairon Asprilla and Tomás Conechny.
