The Portland Timbers will face the Chicago Fire in their final game of the Simple Invitational preseason tournament on Saturday at 5 p.m. at Providence Park.
The game will take place after the Vancouver Whitecaps play Minnesota United at 2:30 p.m.
The Timbers routed Minnesota United 4-0 in their first match of the tournament Sunday. Portland went with an entirely different lineup in its second game of the tournament Wednesday and lost 2-0 to the Vancouver Whitecaps.
