The Portland Timbers (1-1-1, 4 points) took the weekend off after fighting back to earn a 2-2 draw against Real Salt Lake in their most recent game.
The Timbers are now turning their attention to Sunday's road game against Orlando City SC.
The Portland Thorns opened their preseason tournament Sunday with a game against the Seattle Reign. They will continue tournament play with games against Oregon State and the Houston Dash this week.
