The National Women’s Soccer League today announced an updated schedule for the 2020 NWSL Challenge Cup presented by P&G and Secret. Due to Orlando Pride’s withdrawal, the league will continue with an eight-team, 23-game tournament.
Thorns FC begins play on June 27 against the North Carolina Courage at Zions Bank Stadium. The match will kickoff at 9:30am PT on CBS and CBS All Access. Their second match is against the Chicago Red Stars on July 1 (9:30am PT, CBS All Access) followed by the Washington Spirit on July 5 (7pm PT, CBS All Access) and then closing out qualifying play on July 13 versus OL Reign (9:30am PT, CBS All Access).
