CARSON, Calif – Midfielder Sebastián Blanco scored a second half goal but the Portland Timbers lost 2-1 to the LA Galaxy in the opening game of the 2018 MLS regular-season at the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif.
The Galaxy's scored a pair of goals in the first half with Ola Kamara opening his account in the 32nd minute and Romain Allessandrini scoring two minutes late.
