Portland Timbers midfielder Marvin Loria was called up by Costa Rica for a pre-2020 Concacaf Men’s Olympic Qualifying Camp on Thursday. The camp will run from Feb. 15-25 and will feature two friendlies against Honduras on Feb. 23 and Feb. 25.
Loria has featured for Costa Rica’s youth teams before, including three appearances and one start for the U-20 squad at the 2017 Concacaf U-20 Championship. He has one senior team appearance, which he earned on Feb. 2, 2019 in a 2-0 loss to the U.S. Men’s National Team.
The 23-year-old midfielder has been with the club since 2018.
