Seattle Sounders FC and OL Reign announced on Thursday that their respective August matchups against the Portland Timbers and Portland Thorns FC will be an exclusive doubleheader matchday experience. The doubleheader will take place on Sunday, Aug. 29 at Lumen Field in Seattle.
The Thorns and Reign will play first at 4 p.m. PST followed by the Timbers and Sounders at 7:30 p.m. PST. The doubleheader will be treated as a single-ticket event, meaning one ticket will get you access to both matches.
The Portland Thorns will be fresh off of hosting the Women’s International Champions Cup, a tournament that sees them play the Houston Dash and one of Olympique Lyonnais or FC Barcelona Femeni.
