The Portland Timbers travel to British Colombia to continue their 2017 Cascadia Cup campaign, as they take on the Vancouver Whitecaps at BC Place this Sunday (3:30pm PT, FS1).
After a draw with Seattle in late June, the Timbers will aim to decouple themselves from the Sounders and take sole possession of first place in the Cascadia Cup standings.
Portland and Seattle have each played in three Cascadia matches, to Vancouver's two this season, and after four total games, the Timbers and Sounders sit tied atop the standings with four points per team.
