The Big Ten regular season has come to an end and Portland Thorns’ draftees Sam Coffey and Amirah Ali now prep for the collegiate postseason. Coffey and Ali will lead their respective schools in the Big Ten Tournament but the Nittany Lions and Scarlet Knights enter the tournament in vastly different form.
Ali and Rutgers won their previous three matches against Michigan State, Indiana and Illinois. The Scarlet Knights celebrated senior night with a 1-0 win at home against the Spartans before hitting the road to close out the Big Ten regular season.
