It’s that time of year, folks. The 2021 MLS SuperDraft is finally upon us, and the Portland Timbers hold three picks in this one: The eighth pick, the 43rd pick, and the 70th pick. Some mock drafts (and our very own Sam Svilar) have the Timbers taking defender Matt Di Rosa out of Maryland with their top pick, but we’ll have to wait and see how it all turns out.
This open thread won’t just be for Timbers picks. Feel free to discuss just about anything that is happening during the draft. Unlike the 2021 NWSL Draft, only part of the SuperDraft will actually be broadcasted, but we’ll still update this article with every pick as it’s made.
