Timbers coach Caleb Porter said recently that the Timbers won't be defending the MLS Cup title, they will be attacking it. The Timbers have kept the majority of their MLS Cup-winning roster intact and have a chance to once again contend for the MLS Cup if they can find the same success this season. Still, it will be a challenge for Portland to once again rise to the top of MLS and they have plenty of work ahead of them if they hope to prove that they are once again the best team in MLS.
