Woody Kincaid Runs American Record 5K

Boston, Mass -- 2016 Pilot graduate, Woody Kincaid, sets a new American record in the Indoor 5,000 Meter Run. Kincaid's time of 12:51.61 broke the old record held by Grant Fisher of 12:53.73 by just over two seconds. In classic fashion, Kincaid came from behind during the last 200 meters to pass Joe Klecker in pursuit of the record. Covering the last 200 meters in a blistering 26.27 seconds was more than enough to take both the victory and the record. This was also a personal best for Kincaid by nearly 6.5 seconds.
