CLEVELAND, Ohio., ---The University of Portland claimed the 2015-16 Division I-AAA Athletics Directors Association (DI-AAA ADA) All-Sports Trophy for women's outdoor track and field after a successful spring season. Using the Learfield Director's Cup scoring system, All-Sports Trophies are handed out to DI-AAA schools for each men's and women's sport, and the University of Denver was awarded with the overall All-Sport's Trophy for the 2015-16 year.
After a solid outdoor season by the Pilots, sophomore Lauren LaRocco capped the year with two podium finishes at the 2016 NCAA Championships. Her fourth-place finish in the 10,000 meters and her sixth-place showing in the 5,000 48 hours later earned her a pair of All-American honors.
