PORTLAND, Ore. --- Midfielder Jasmine Garibay (Madera, Calif./Madera South HS/Fresno City College) has committed to the University of Portland and will join the Pilots in the fall with two years remaining of eligibility, announced head coach Michelle French. Garibay spent the past two years at Fresno City College, where she was a First Team All-American as a sophomore.
"Jasmine impressed us as a player with her individual technical ability to escape tight spaces, along with her sophistication of her final pass in the attack," said French. "Even more admirable to us, is her confidence, desire, and commitment to her continued growth as a player and person.
