SEATTLE, Wash. – The University of Portland women's basketball program has been selected as part of the tournament field for the for the 2022 St. Pete Showcase in St. Petersburg, Fla. The Pilots are one of five teams in the field, which also includes the University of Florida, the University of Houston, Northeastern University and the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.
This is the second year of the St. Pete Showcase, which will be played during Thanksgiving weekend at the McArthur Center from Nov. 24-26. The tournament expanded from four teams to five this year, with last year's tournament featuring several prominent programs, including Florida State, West Virginia, Purdue and WCC member BYU.
