NEWBERG, Ore. – Current Portland Pilots women's basketball head coach Mike Meek will be inducted into the George Fox 26th Sports Hall of Fame class on Saturday, Oct. 1 in recognition of his stellar career as head coach of the Bruins.
Meek was head coach of the Bruins from 2010-19, posting an overall record of 230-35 and a winning percentage of .868, the highest winning percentage of any Fox head coach. Meek led George Fox to two NCAA Division III title game appearances, eight NCAA tournament appearances, six Northwest Conference titles and seven Top 25 appearances in the season's final poll.
