With 165 Career Goals, Christine Sinclair is Second to None

Portland women's soccer alum Christine Sinclair ('05) scored two goals for Team Canada on Wednesday and now has more international goals than any player who's ever played in the history of the sport. Sinclair tied and surpassed previous record holder Abby Wambach of the U.S. with two goals during the first 20 minutes of Canada's CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying match against Saint Kitts and Nevis.

Sinclair now has 165 international goals, leaving the striker un-matched.

Sinclair is one of the most decorated players in the history of soccer, and while at the University of Portland she helped the Pilots win two NCAA National Championships, in 2002 and 2005.
