CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Pilots recorded another successful weekend of racing with multiple PRs and two all-time marks.
Day 1 of competition was highlighted by a strong women's 1500 where Pilots Sam Prusse, Mathilde Deswaef, and Claire Fagan went 1-2-3 in heat 1. Stina Pettersson finished close behind for fifth, as well.
The men's 5,000 meter race saw the most success for the Pilots where five out of six Pilots in the field ran a PR. The invite heat of the event was led by Freshman Pedro Vazquez who ran a debut 14:25.05, while Paul law ran a PR of 14:46.
