PORTLAND, Ore. --- The Portland Pilots volleyball team opened the 2017 campaign with their first official practice Tuesday morning in the Chiles Center. The Pilots enter the season with eight returning letterwinners, along with a freshman class that was ranked in the top 55 in the nation and top three in the West Coast Conference.
Among those returning letterwinners are four starters, headed by senior and All-WCC First Team selection Hannah Troutman and Sophomore Cali Thompson, who landed on the All-WCC Freshman team in a breakout season.
