STOCKTON, Calif. --- Portland's Kaylie Van Loo poured in a career-high 26 points, Hannah Mattson added 16 and the Pilots pulled away from the Pacific Tigers in overtime to win 78-71 at the Alex G. Spanos Center on Thursday night. Van Loo claims a career-high in points for the second straight game after scoring 23 the last time out.
The Tigers (9-17, 5-10 WCC) led for most of the game before the Pilots (6-20, 4-11 WCC) put together a solid fourth quarter to mount a comeback. The Pilots trailed by as much as seven in the final frame, but when Van Loo hit a lay-up while getting fouled, Portland had come all the way back following her free throw.
