SAN BRUNO, Calif. --- Portland junior guard Kaylie Van Loo, who is enjoying a breakout season for the Pilots, was named All-West Coast Conference Honorable Mention for women's basketball, it was announced on Tuesday. This is the first all-conference honor for the native of Hillsboro, Ore.
Van Loo ranks fifth in the WCC in both assists (3.8 apg) and assist/turnover ratio (1.5), and she's averaging career-highs of 7.7 points per game and 2.7 rebounds. Van Loo has started all 29 games and she's registered career-highs in points (17), rebounds (6), assists (9), steals (4) and blocks this season (2).
