PORTLAND, Ore. – University of Portland Athletics has partnered with Orthopedic + Fracture Specialists (O+FS) as the official orthopedic sports medicine providers for University of Portland Athletics effective immediately. The Specialists at Orthopedic + Fracture are extremely excited to provide support and services to the incredible Portland Pilots student-athletes as well as potential future offerings to the student body at large.
"We at O+FS have similar values and priorities as UP Athletics that make the two cultures easily compatible", said Sports Medicine Physician, Dr. R. Brian Bettencourt. "Being on campus and providing medical services doesn't feel like 'work' because I'm surrounded by friendly, engaging, and compassionate staff and students that create a welcoming environment.
