PORTLAND, Ore. – It was a stellar year for University of Portland Athletics in the classroom, with the department as a whole posting a GPA above 3.50 the entire year. This is the first time Portland Athletics has ever accomplished such a feat.
"This year our more than 300 student-athletes accomplished something that has never been done in the history of Portland Athletics, earning above a 3.50 GPA," Senior Associate Athletic Director of Academic / Student-Athlete Development Glenna Andrews said. "I am exceptionally proud of this accomplishment as it shows the high level of academic commitment embedded within this department and each program.
