PORTLAND, Ore. – The Pilots split their squad between to meets this weekend, UO Twilight and Portland Twilight, finding great success in both competitions.
UO Twilight took place in Eugene, Ore. on May 5th. The meet showcased a total of 14 Pilots, many of which were battling for wins or setting personal bests. Jonas Gertsen and Zak Kirk kept their season's momentum going, setting personal bests in the 5,000 meter run of 13:46.36 and 13:47.79, respectively. These times were good for No. 6 and No. 8 All-time for University of Portland.
The meet was also highlighted by Laura Pellicoro's strong finish in the women's 1500 in 4:15.
