PORTLAND, Ore. --- Former Pilot standout Hannah Troutman has been nominated by the University of Portland as a candidate for the 2018 NCAA Woman of the Year award. Troutman was the first Portland volleyball student-athlete in school history to earn back to back All-WCC First Team honors and helped transform the volleyball program into a perennial contender in the always competitive West Coast Conference.
For 28 years, this program has honored the academic achievements, athletics excellence, community service and leadership of outstanding female college athletes.
The WCC Conference office will next select up to two conference nominees to move forward.
