PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Pilots (23-15, 10-8 WCC) earned the sweep over the Pacific Tigers (11-27, 2-13 WCC) with a 5-3 win at Joe Etzel Field. The sweep is Portland's first in WCC play and their third of the season.
Eli Morse earned his sixth win of the season after going 7.2 innings with three runs and nine hits allowed and eight strikeouts. Peter Allegro earned his ninth save of the season and second of the series, going 1.1 innings with no runs allowed. The save is Allegro's 12th of his career, putting him at fourth all-time for the Pilots.
