Spencer Steps Down from UP Women’s Rowing Coaching Duties

PORTLAND, Ore. – University of Portland women's rowing head coach Pasha Spencer is stepping down to pursue other career opportunities, Portland Vice President for Athletics Scott Leykam announced on Monday. Spencer joined the Pilots in the summer of 2013 and helped build a program that transitioned from a club team just two years earlier into a nationally recognized Division I varsity program. Spencer's last day on The Bluff will be June 30.

"I want to thank Scott Leykam and the UP administration for the opportunity to lead this amazing rowing program," Spencer said. "Portland is a great place to work and I have met a lot of wonderful people in my seven years here.
