PORTLAND, Ore. --- The Portland Pilots men's and women's track and field teams will send eight of their top runners to compete in the Stanford Invitational this Friday at Cobb Track and Angell Field.
"We are really excited for this meet, which is one of the best for distance races in the country," said women's head coach Ian Solof. "All of our women have been training hard and are very fit. As always, we're focused on competing at a high level and running smart races."
Seniors Parkes Kendrick and Anne Luijten, who sit third and fourth all-time in the UP record books will both kick off the meet for the Pilots beginning with the 1500m.
