LAS VEGAS, Nev. – In what proved to be the final game of the season, the Portland Pilots fell 12-8 in the first round of the 2025 WCC Tournament to the LMU Lions.
Morgan Codron (2-2) was saddled with the loss for the Pilots (22-30). He threw 1.1 innings with four runs counted against him. Kaden Segel started for Portland, going five innings with five runs conceded but just two earned.
Portland put up eight runs on 11 hits, led by Tyler Howard's 3-for-5 outing with an RBI. Zach Toglia, Brady Bean Trey Swygart each posted two hits on the day, with Toglia adding an RBI, and Cole Katayama-Stall hit a three-run homer for his ninth of the year.
