INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – University of Portland Vice President for Athletics Scott Leykam has been appointed to the NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Committee. Leykam will serve a four-year term on the committee beginning on September 1, 2019.
The 10-person women's soccer committee is responsible for the organization and implementation of the NCAA Championships tournament, including selection of the participants and creation of the bracket. The committee also establishes playing rules and procedures for competition.
"I am humbled to be selected to serve on the NCAA Women's Soccer Committee as a representative of both the University of Portland and the West Coast Conference," Leykam said.
