SAN BRUNO, Calif. – It's a Pilot soccer sweep for the WCC Player of the Week awards. After the women's team had Nedya Sawan and Bre Norris earn both WCC Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors earlier today, the men's soccer team had two of their own players earn both honors this week. Gurman Sangha took home the offensive award while George Tasouris took home the defensive award, marking the second time men's soccer has swept the weekly awards this season.
With the sweep for the men's team, the Pilots become the first WCC school to have both soccer teams sweep both offensive and defensive player of the week since the conference switched to recognition of both offensive and defensive player of the week.
