PORTLAND, Ore. – The San Diego Toreros defeated the Portland Pilots by an 82-71 margin in a West Coast Conference men's basketball game Thursday night at the Chiles Center.
San Diego senior guard Duda Sanadze scored a game-high 29 points on 10-of-14 shooting from the field for the Toreros (6-10, 1-4 WCC). Senior center Jito Kok added 17 points and seven rebounds.
Portland junior point guard Alec Wintering finished with a team-high 23 points, including 12-of-12 from the free throw line. Senior guard Bryce Pressley added 20 points, six rebounds and four steals.
The Pilots (8-11, 2-4) have now lost four straight games after starting conference play with a home sweep of LMU and Pepperdine.
