SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Portland Pilots baseball saw six players earn All-WCC honors on Tuesday, headlined by Jonas Salk making the All-WCC First Team. Tyler Howard earned All-WCC Second Team honors, Brady Bean, Cody Nitowitz and Ryan Rembisz earned honorable mention and Nitowitz and Trey Swygart also both made the freshman team.
Salk earns All-WCC First Team honors – and All-WCC honors altogether – for the first time in his career. Salk was electric at the plate, posting a .291 batting average with 11 doubles, 13 home runs and 43 RBI's. His 13 homers are the most by a Pilot since 2008 and also rank fourth in the WCC.
